Lavender Womyn BUNCO!!

I'd like to hear from those of you who have attended our BUNCO events.  Is this an event you'd like to continue to have?  What about you "first timers"...was this a good first time event, or do you think it's too wild and crazy?  Let me know your thoughts and share your experiences so others will know what to expect if they attend a Bunco event.  Attending an event for the first time can be scary.  Hopefully, by hearing from some of you who have been there, others will be more apt to attend.

:) I definitely think the bunco events should continue. They are fun and very enjoyable. I also think they are a great ice breaker for first timers. It's a way to talk to lots of different people in a very low key setting.

I agree with Arlene about continuing the bunco parties. I was not able to attend this BIG one but have gone before and it is loads of fun and the intermixing with all the others at a group gathering is great. Most of the time at any social gathering we find ourselves visiting with the same people, which is okay, but need to reach out to all the others as well. What an excellent non-threatening way to handle that issue. Seems the only problem may be keeping a place large enough to hold them. Any ideas out there???

I think Bunco is a great game and a good way to meet many people in a short period of time. It's very helpful for women who are shy and wouldn't perhaps approach others and introduce themselves.;)

I am a bunco queen! Ok, i'm female, but what I am is Lonely for my bunco :( I was in a group for 8 yrs but they now hate me because of who they found out I was sexually. So anyway, I live in Hillsboro now (have been for about 15 months) and am really upset that i've not found a bunco group yet! My partner and I have been trying to get some social things going and it has proven to be very hard. Please let me know if I can help in trying to assist with getting a bunco group or card game group or even just a monthly GAME group going! I'm up for it, I'm ready and willing and ABLE! Thank you. We're looking at possibly having a Bunco event the 1st Sunday in November in the Tigard area. Be sure to get on our email list so you can get all the information as we firm things up.

You might also contact the Portland group leaders to see if they want you to start a game group going every month. Go to: http://www.portlandlavenderwomyn.com and contact Nori and Lisa.
